Post-election clean up
Now that the election victory has been achieved, it is time to clean up!
YARD SIGNS
Let's get those yard signs cleaned up. Unfortunately, our weather-resistant paper signs are waxed, so that cannot be recycled so we must send them to the landfill where they will decay relatively quicly. The metal stakes can be recycled through Laurel Street Recycling, at Neversink and Laurel Streets (610-376-2997); they are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 to 11:45 a.m. on Saturdays.
ROAD-SIDE SIGNS
We're working with the Berks Young Democrats to collect roadside signs. However, if you can grab some -- please do! Thanks!
HEADQUARTERS CLEAN-UP & MOVE OUT
We're working to schedule a clean-up of headquarters and information will be posted here soon and an e-mail sent out to volunteers in the next few days.
